Cheek augmentation can enhance the appearance of the face by increasing the projection when the cheekbone area of the face is flat or lacking contour.  Simultaneously, it can create better harmony between your other facial features for a more balanced look.

The cheekbones may be built up (augmented) by placing an implant over them.  This is usually performed through an incision within the mouth, but it may be done through a lower eyelid or brow lift incision.

After a cheek augmentation, you will most likely be up and about the same day as surgery and it is done as out-patient.  You will most likely go back to work within one to two weeks.
