One of the most popular ways today’s women improve the contour of their bodies and enhance their self-esteem is through breast enlargement, called “Augmentation Mammoplasty.”

This procedure is performed to enlarge small or underdeveloped breasts. Asymmetry between the breasts may also be improved by this procedure.

Breast augmentation is performed on an outpatient basis using and general anesthesia. Standard incisions are placed around the areola, in the crease beneath the breasts, or under the arms. The procedure is performed by placing an implant beneath the breast tissues. The implants may be placed above or below the muscle covering the chest wall. The surgery typically takes about two hours and the patient should be back to work within four to seven days.
